NEWS FROM THE FRENCH CORNER.

JK & SK have been using their knowledge of nature and made a collage of
a tree and a branch with a nest and an egg with a newly hatched chick. The students are learning a riddle based on their collage.

Grade 1 children have completed a story board based on a clozed activity. They  proved to be risk-takers by illustrating their version of the story as well as demonstrated creativity when they had to modify their drawings to better represent what we read. WELL DONE EVERYONE.

Grade 2 added the finishing touch to their project 'Toute une journée'. While learning the parts of the day, they reflected and shared what they actually do during the day.

Grade 3 & 4 had their rehearsal of the play in the gym. They discovered that voices do not carry the same power or quality in a more open space (acoustics) then in the classroom.

Grade 5 completed sentences by choosing elements from 3 different colomns.
This involved reflecting on which verbs to use with different subjects.

Grade 6 are working on their 'read & comprehension' segment of the unit. This should be completed on Thursday.

Grade 7 & 8 are using the principals of sentence construction while applying the 'futur proche'. They also read a short text (interview) about two carreers involved in the development of a prosthesis.
