NEWS FROM THE FRENCH CORNER

Grade 6,7- Several students were representing TMA at the Dufferin Track Meet.
Classes were collapsed, and this morning students had a 'LONG' discussion that began with the National Anthem. They researched the origins, discussed the meaning of the words, looked up, and listened to 'La Marseillaise' (which they found brutal, but that is history). Thinking back about how it all began: the question was WHAT IS COMMUNICATION?

Grade 3,4,5 students from grade 4,5 explained, and reflected on this year's work. As a group, they played a round the world game, brainstormed the type, and unit topic they would like to have next year.

Grade 1,2 students played questions and answers about wild animals. Kappa won all the rounds!

JK/SK Students finished the year with the song 'La Savanne', complete with puppets. BONNE VACANCES!

Grade 2,3, rounded up the day with the final 'Maison à vendre' presentations. Then, they reviewed prepositions while pretending they were walking on the beach. You just have to ask them.

Please allow me to thank you, parents, for trusting me to teach your children. It was a great year of learning, and new experiences for our Maples students. Know that I cherish every moments.
