NEWS FROM THE FRENCH CORNER

JK & SK are investigating the different parts of a house. This week, the vocabulary is related to the outside of the house.

Grade 1 Students are adding adjectives describing different animals. We are building on riddles to find clues for sizes, colours and even actions to guess which animal we are talking about.

Grade 2 have just finished the last of the presentations on the water cycle, oceans and pollution today. They were able to find, share and discuss their projects. WELL DONE!

Grade 3 & 4 Many students are starting to master their lines and we should be able to get on the stage this week.

Grade 5 They are reading the novel 'Le Voleur' and I am amazed at how competent they are in completing all the related activities independently.

Grade 6 will be completing their house booklet and will start researching their property for sale in the next few days.

Grade 7 & 8 reviewed the 'partitif' and will move on to the read and comprehension components this week. The topic will be 'Braille' as a language.
