NEWS FROM THE  FRENCH CORNER

Today, we had a returning students, Jasmine Weiler, who elected to shadow her former French teacher. And what a great day it was. She was very helpful and the students really liked having her to help around the classroom.

Grade 3/4 had their last activity on clothing. They are very willing to deswcribe what they wear and are now able to conjugate the verb porter in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd person singular. Well Done!

Grade 7 Karlynn presented her project and did a great job of it. Following this, they acted as the audience for the grade 8 presentation. We started to talk about the vocabulary for virus.

Grade 8 presented their invitation card, identity card, an excellent police report and their skit as a video. WOW! Well done.

Grade 1/2 finnished their word search from Monday, vocabulary and when the grade 2 were done, they read French books. Something I would like to do on a more regular basis. This week's reader aloud was Maddy. Bravo!

JK/SK worked on the calendar some more, a round of games (they were tired), and finally they talked about their favorite fruit.
