NEWS FROM THE FRENCH CORNER

Grade 9 French students discussed the use of the Web (a few do's and don't). They brainstormed what is expected for the summative task coming up. They reviewed and corrected their reflexive verbs sheet, and learned to use the infinitive verb when following a preposition (pour, à).
If you are not already done answering questions 1-8, this is homework.
Monday, they will have a re-test for verbs. This is your homework to be prepared.

Grade 8 French students self-assessed their knowledge of vouloir, pouvoir, devoir, and discussed how to study for success (don't study what you already know, learn from your mistakes, study what you need to know).
Homework is to again test yourself with verbs in the present tense (singular only). After doing the sheet without help, change colour pencils, and correct.
Monday, you will have the plural of the verbs.

Grade 5/6 students learned to use adverbs of quantity: peu, assez, beaucoup, trop.
They illustrated the concept, and practiced with teacher, and with each other.

JK/SK Les animaux de la ferme, continued. Singing À LA FERME DE MATTHIEU...

Grade 1/2 students are now writing their colours, and are  able to express their preferences.

Grade 4//5 Today, students worked with negative sentences. The placement of 'ne and pas' is still a complicated concept. More on this next week.
