NEWS FROM THE FRENCH CORNER

There is a lot of activity going on this week.

Grade 5/6 worked on answering comprehension questions on a short text. As a rule, everyone understands the text. The real  work was to compose answers that were complete and correct: start with 'il y a' or C'est...and so on.
Tuesday and Friday will be our designated days to work on the French components of their PYP Exhibition.

Grade 3/4 were away on their field trip to the Welliington Museum. They will have so muck to tell for the rest of the week. They will be giving information in French in their notebook.

Grade 7/8 were read to this morning. This unit is about retelling legends and how appropriate for the students to use the verbs requiring the auxilliary Etre and new vocabulary.

Grade 1/2 had a friendly competition with the quiz. Well done everyone! The rest of the week, they will have work on written activities.

PS/JK/SK  are having a good time with new activities on Springtime. Je marche, je cours, je vole, je nage, je  plonge et je grimpe. The rest of the week will be a montage and collage of a
arbre, nid,  oeuf, oiseau et coquille.
